A fun day

January 21, 2009

Today when I woke up I was very tired because I was standing up for seven hours the day before. So when we left the house we went to a mock confirmation hearing at the Rayburn offices for Congress. I really liked it because they had microphones on each desk and they were loud. We asked such good questions that representative McKeon had to ask the other staff members for help.  When we left there, there were these women and men from the Airforce and they saluted to me, and I saluted back.

After we left the building we went to the Episcopal Boarding High School. Our tour guide was walking too fast!  They had a two percent attrition rate last year, very low. A lot of kids do art and they look very nice. There were pictures of flowers, rooms, and people.  Then we left the boarding school.

We were on our way to the Crime & Punishment Museum.  We got to see the studio where they film America's Most Wanted. We had to do an investigation on finger prints.e had this brush but, there weren't bristles but the metal was metal and there were black powder that you rub over the finger print. After we got out of the CSI investigation I got on this game where you were a police driver and you can turn on the siren and pull the driver over.

After we left the Crime & Punishment Museum we went to Lovecafe. We interviewed Mr. Brown and how he went to law school but, he did not like being a lawyer. He now has six Cakelove bakeries and one Lovecafe.  I ate a bacon and lettuce sandwhich. After we ate, we all had a cupcake that was so good. Then after we ate our cupcake, we walked home and relaxed.
