My first flight was a success! Thank you Virgin America.
January 16, 2009
Hi,my name is Nasser Baker from the class of 2016. This morning I was at LAX Airport at 5:30 am. Now I am warm and cozy in Washington, DC. While in the terminal earlier today, I could feel the rumble from the airplanes while I was waiting for our flight.
As it rumbled, it made me nervous but also excited and proud of myself for making the trip. Another way I felt earlier was calm about getting on an airplane, even though it was my first flight. As we entered the airplane, my heart pounded very fast! But I realized that I had no choice but to get on the plane and do what I came to do.
I would like to give an extremely big thank you to Virgin America for giving us the chance that is once in a life time. I also want to thank you for the best airplane service that you could ever give. I have never had any service like yours, anywhere else. I especially want to thank you for those kind and caring things you did for our flight to Washington, DC.
All of you that have read my blog today, I ask you for one favor: Can you please read all of our blogs, every night? We are going to be learning a lot about the histroy of the world, our country, and about being great leaders.
