KIPP Raíces Academy
Excellence from the beginning.
KIPP Raíces Academy is a tuition-free public charter elementary school located in East Los Angeles. Founded in summer 2008, KIPP Raíces currently serves 100 kindergartners. One grade will be added each year until we reach capacity in 2012 with 500 students in grades K to four.
KIPP Raíces is part of the renowned national charter network, the Knowledge Is Power Program. It is the third KIPP school to open in Los Angeles and the first of 12 new KIPP schools that will open in the city over the next decade. To learn more about KIPP, click here.
